Another educational post on the blog...all about helping subjects look their best for the camera!

Sometimes children can be challenging subjects! Hugs are a great way to keep them in one place and help them feel comfortable too!

Or just let them run free and capture all that energy!

Be goofy and get kids to smile at you. Their personalities shine through wonderfully!

When photographing multiple subjects interaction is key...you will get wonderful natural expressions!

Find poses that bend elbows, knees, and wrists...if it bends bend it! Ask subjects to bring their shoulders towards the camera and put their weight on the farthest leg. Above all help them feel comfortable in front of the camera...it will show in the resulting images!

My favorite composition tip? Add animals!
